The Fort Gibson Wildlife Management Area covers 21, 798 acres in Wagoner and Cherokee counties. It is a mixture of upland and bottomland habitats, with the upland areas consisting of tall grass prairie mixed with farm fields and brushy thickets while the bottomland areas consist of crosstimber oak forest with Cottonwood and Sycamores. With such a variety of habitat, there continues to be wonderful training grounds for you to train in.
